Statement of Faith

Our ministry is anchored in God’s Word; this is what we believe, this truth compels us to share the Gospel.

We Believe...

  1. The Bible is God’s revelation to man, inspired by the Holy Spirit and the original manuscripts are without error. The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21, 1 Thessalonians 2:13)

  2. In one God, eternally existing in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 8:6, Mark 12:29, Matthew 29:19)

  3. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross in our place, taking upon Him the penalty for our sin. He rose from the dead and ascended into heaven as Lord of all. He now intercedes for believers and will return personally and visibly to receive them and establish His Kingdom. (Hebrews 4:14-15, Luke 1:30-35, 1 Peter 2:24-25 and 3:18, John 20:20, Acts 1:9, Hebrews 7:25 and 1:3, Matthew 25:31-46)

  4. In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit. His work includes convicting and regenerating sinners, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ at the time of regeneration, indwelling them and enabling them to live a Godly life. (John 14:16-17 and 16:7-15, Acts 1:8 and 4:31, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 2:14, Galatians 5:16-18)

  5. God created man and woman in His own image and through their disobedience became separated from God. All mankind has inherited this state and a sinful nature, which renders him unable on his own merit to please God and regain his former position of fellowship with God. Therefore, God’s remedy for man’s ruin is found in the restoration and redemptive work of Jesus Christ completed on the cross through His death and resurrection. (Genesis 1:26-27, Romans 3:10 and 23, John 3:16, Acts 4:12 and 13:38-39)

  6. The Church is the body of Christ composed of all believers. The ministry of evangelism and discipleship is the responsibility of the Church. (1 Corinthians 12:12 and 27, Ephesians 1:22-23, Matthew 28:19-20)

  7. There will be a final bodily resurrection of all persons; believers unto the resurrection of eternal life and fellowship with God; unbelievers unto the resurrection of eternal punishment and separation from God. (1 Corinthians 15:51-57, Revelation 20:11-15)

“Indeed, it is blessing and an honor to participate in supporting the Wings of Blessing mission as they bring
humanitarian, medical and spiritual aid to remote areas of Honduras. We rejoice that God’s Kingdom is reaching an
inaccessible area with Jesus Christ’s precious love. It is exciting to be part of it.

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they
have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they
are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!’” (Romans 10:14-15 ESV)”
