After serving in ministry among the tribal groups of Papua, Indonesia for nearly 40 years, four Cessna 185’s were returned to the U.S. beginning a new chapter with a freshly formed organization called Wings of Blessing (WOB).
The airplanes were being retired from service with no plans for further use. The founder of Wings of Blessing, Mike Sayre, who was serving in that Indonesia flight program had the vision for continued use of the airplanes building the Church in other parts of the world much like they did in Papua.
That vision was the motivation behind creating Wings of Blessing. If those airplanes could talk, the stories they could tell…
- saving lives by carrying the sick and injured to medical care.
- hauling newly translated Bibles to those without God's word and
- of carrying missionaries into remote jungle villages,
The airplanes were gifted to Wings of Blessing for that purpose. Our prayer is for God to use these resources to declare His greatness to the remote and isolated areas in Honduras.
