ROGER STUBER

Roger’s early years were marked by a global perspective beginning with an 18-month stay in Italy as an infant while his father was in the military. That global view, sparked at an early age, would ultimately prove pivotal, setting the stage for ministry on the mission field.

At age 20, Roger spent four years in Papua New Guinea helping a missionary with youth ministry, carpentry, and mechanical work inspiring him to pursue full time ministry. He returned to the U.S. in 1980, meeting his future wife, Gwen. Their desire for ministry led them to service in missionary aviation. They joined Regions Beyond Missionary Union (RBMU) where Roger flew a Cessna 185 for 17 years supporting the remote interior of Papua, Indonesia.

Roger and Gwen along with their three children returned to the U.S. in 2001 and Roger took over his Dad’s construction firm. Having recently sold the business, Roger and Gwen are now enjoying retirement in Tremont, Illinois, and spending time with their grandchildren.

PREFIELD PARTNER DEVELOPMENT

Aaron Dack

Prefield Mission Worker

Aaron’s journey into aviation began after his family moved from Australia to Wisconsin when he was 13. Through all this God was laying ministry on Aaron’s heart, “I have always felt a strong calling from the Lord to use my skills to help build and serve His Church. Wings of Blessing provides the perfect opportunity to put those abilities to use for that very purpose.”

Aaron and Katie are excited to answer God’s call serving with Wings of Blessing. Aaron will use his expertise as a maintenance specialist to help develop the maintenance program for Wings of Blessing. Katie will serve alongside him by continuing her important work at home raising their three children, Emeryk, Avlynn, and Zayne.

Aaron Dack earned his private pilot’s license a year after high school graduation. Alongside his aviation training, he earned an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and pursued Biblical studies through Okanagan Bible College. Aaron holds the Airframe and Powerplant maintenance technician licenses as well as an additional inspection authorization.

We are deeply encouraged by what God is doing through your partnering with Wings of Blessing. Our desire is the same as Paul’s “that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith, both yours and mine.” Romans 1:12
